Gu Jin, vice president of China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd. (Genertec) attended the 2024 Media Cooperation Forum on Belt and Road held in Chengdu, Sichuan province at invitation on Aug. 28.

Gu delivered a keynote speech titled "Joining the New Force of Media to Promote New Development of the Belt and Road Initiative."

The forum, themed "Enhancing Media Cooperation for Common Development," was co-hosted by People's Daily and the provincial government of Sichuan. It brought together more than 200 media executives, editors and journalists from 191 outlets in 76 countries, along with experts, scholars and business representatives.

During the forum, innovative green Belt and Road concepts and practical cases were released, and a 500MW renewable energy project built by Genertec in Bangladesh was on the list.
